On Thursday April 8, Mexico City police reported that at least 80 gunmen had attacked a town in Northern Mexico for at least five hours, killing four people. They arrived in at least 15 pickup trucks and opened fire on the state police head quarters and set it on fire. The gunmen have been identified as members or organized crime but no further identifications have been released. Many believe that this attack was related to the violent drug war that is currently taking place in many parts of Mexico.
